Farm Crew Position
Job Description:
Farm Crew members will report to our manager and will work alongside 5 other team members. This position will give you a well rounded understanding of working on a small scale farm. Farm Crew members will be working in several areas of the farm including but not limited to planting, harvesting, washing, bed preparation, and working at our farmers market booths. This is a full-time position, 5 days per week (40-45 hours). Weekday hours are 7:30am-4:30pm and Saturday hours are 6:00am-2:00pm (start times and hours can vary with the season). We work 5 days a week on a split schedule, typically Monday to Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. Due to the unique obligations of farm life, you may be occasionally asked work additional days/hours. Our main season runs September through June but there is potential for year-round employment if desired. Competitive pay based on experience.

Job Requirements:
Some experience in small scale intensive organic vegetable farming is a plus but not a requirement
Able to do physical work and lift 50+ lbs consistently through the day
Able to stand and/or walk during entire work day
Able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
Able to work outdoors under varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.)
Able to work both independently and as part of a larger team
Able to multitask
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Good customer service skills
A valid driver’s license
Positive Attitude
No drama
